High-achieving middle school students at DUAA can take advantage of advanced coursework and curriculum that will challenge and prepare them for the rigors of our High school. Middle-school classes are designed to lay the intellectual foundation for advanced coursework by developing the critical reasoning, analytical, and communication skills required for academic success.

DUAA Middle school students select courses that fit into a single, part-time, or full-time schedule. Students take placement tests and consult their academic advisors to determine which classes best suit their needs.

DUAA helps Middle school students polish up their skills and behaviors required in high school in the context of challenging material in each subject while also pursuing high school courses in exceptional talent or acceleration areas.
